On March 28, 2025, the final event of the POLLINACTION project, led by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, was held in Mestre, where we participated in support of CAV, a partner of the project financed by the LIFE programme.
The event, which saw the participation of a diverse group of speakers and authorities, was an opportunity to present the results achieved by the project, aimed at supporting biodiversity for pollinating insects.
Thanks to the co-funding obtained within the project, CAV supported the creation of five hectares of enhanced meadows along the “Passante di Mestre” motorway axis by planting over 51,000 herbaceous species to enrich biodiversity along this important infrastructure.
